My father is a mechanic. He likes technology and computers, but prefers analogue stuff he can understand and fix. His level of proficiency with these computer stuff is the same of someone who can install new software, with many effort and some help. He has never used AI on purpose. This guide is addressed to people like him.
I mean: I spent the last 57 years without this complicated stuff that never works, I don't need it. It's true: you don't need it, as you didn't need cellphones and internet. As like as them, Artificial Intelligence is the next thing you cannot live without.
And that's the reason why I decided to write this guide. Here, you'll find the basics stuff you should do in order to setup a fully working AI agents
One of the most useful task an AI can assist you with, is learning. You can just open one of the providers, for example Mistral, that is European, or Claude, and type something like:
I'm trying to understand [write what you need assistance with] but [write here the difficulty you are encountering] Can you help me? Then, it's also important that you give some context about yourself, like: Consider I am not completeley fluent with computer use, so please be very clear with your explaination and avoid to use very technical language. When you tap enter, give a few seconds to the model and then you'll start getting the explaination you asked for. You can also ask follow up questions. It's like having a personal teacher all for you.
