This is my blogroll . I sometimes find new blogs so the list is stretching more and more. I'll try to keep it organized.
Here some resources I think everybody should read/hear/watch/use:
Whatever you can find from Hans Rosling, it unfolds a new perspective of the world with his incredible communication style. If you are looking for a starting point, I reccomend his first TED Talk " and obviously, his book ;
The TED Talk from Tim Urban about procrastinators;
The book "Material World", from Ed Conway (here is his substack) every sentence taught me something;
A lesson by Patrick Winston about presentation and public speaking;
The 40 question to ask yourself every year by Steph Ango, also available as 40 question to ask yourself every decade. .
These guys are doing cool stuff:
Meadow is the builder of Mire, my favourite rss reader;
Hannah Ritchie's Substack contantly challenges my understanding of the world, I can't miss a post;
Robin Hawkes'Renewables Map is astonishing work of data visualization for wind energy development;
Joshua Blais' blog is a fascinating journey towards becoming a bettere netizen. I share his mission and do my best to emulate him;
If you are into chess, IM Dan Heisman website and youtube channel are the most underrated resources you can find out there. I also like GM Daniel King's youtube channel for match analysis and, obviously, the speedruns from GM Daniel Naroditski, who passed really young in 2025. Since then, I use a blue chessboard in his memory.
Here are some blogs and websites I took inspiration from for building this website:
James' Coffee also makes a very promising rss reader and his website is very curated;
Steph Ango is the CEO of obsidian, a famous note taking app. Steph made an amazing color scheme called Flexoki that I am using for this website;
Timothy Miller has a great tutorial on using Obsidian with 11ty.
